In my last post I mentioned one of her short films, Super Brainy Zombies, and talked about why it's one of the films that inspires me to make films. But of course it's not just that it's all of her videos. Every single video is entertaining and it feels as if she doesn't just make videos because she has to. There's thought and creativity and passion that at times YouTube misses. If you haven't already you should definitely go and watch Hazel's channel, Chewing Sand.
Now to my main reason for talking about Hazel. Her Time of the Month vlog series. This was a monthly vlog showing everything she did in 2015 (and hopefully 2016 but I'm not sure if it's carrying on). A full playlist of the year is here and although it's a long one, it's worth the watch. I honestly never thought a vlog about someone else's life would make me as emotional as this series did.
2015 seemed to be a particularly difficult year for Hazel. And one of the reasons she inspires me is the way that she shared her life and in turn helped her viewers to share theirs too. Not to mention how incredibly well made the whole series is. The only way to describe it is for me to tell you to watch it and you'll see.
And that was Hazel Hayes. I've written a few posts like this before (Carrie Hope Fletcher and Zoella) and I have another one planned for sometime soon. I yet again would like to apologise for not being here in the past few weeks. It's been difficult for me, I don't know why, but I'm trying.
That's all for now, Hope to see you next time. Bye
